OZCF VINING VEGETABLES WORKSHOP

About Event

Join us at the Oranjezicht City Farm for a hands-on workshop all about growing your own tomatoes, one of the most rewarding crops for home and allotment gardeners alike. Led by our head farmer, Melanie Stewart, this practical session will guide you through the secrets of successful vining vegetables: from seed selection and soil preparation to trellising, watering, pruning, and pest management. Melanie brings a wealth of real-world experience and a deep understanding of what makes these crops flourish in our local conditions. Whether you’re a beginner gardener or looking to refine your skills, this workshop will leave you inspired (and equipped) to grow your own abundant harvest.
