From Garden to Gallery - Nurturing Your Own Creativity

About Event

**A studio tour by award-winning multi-media artist Ros Koch** This event is more than an Open Studio experience: an invitation to amateur and emerging artists especially - a reminder that every artist starts out unsure of themselves and their ability. No garden blooms on the first afternoon, and no confident brushstroke arrives without a lot of uncertain ones first! Walking the studio, visitors see that process up close: works in progress sit alongside finished pieces, sketches and false starts kept deliberately visible rather than tidied away. It's a chance to demystify the process — to show that a finished portrait or landscape is the end of many small, ordinary efforts, not a single flash of talent. Ticket includes a studio tour and light refreshments. Garden and landscape inspired original art, fine art prints and greeting cards will be available for sale. Note: No pets. No children under 13. No wheelchair access. Disclaimer: Ticket holders visit the gardens and attend events entirely at their own risk. The organisers, hosts and garden owners accept no liability for any loss, damage, injury or illness, however caused, except where the law does not allow this to be excluded. Right of admission reserved: hosts may refuse entry or ask visitors to leave on reasonable grounds, such as unsafe or disruptive behaviour, and no refund will be given in that case. Please wear suitable shoes, supervise children and follow the hosts’ instructions.
